Atabarı / Artvin Barı Poster Design for Türk Tanıtma Vakfı (TÜTAV) Competition
The main aim for competition was promoting Turkish folklore and culture. So, inspired by Henri Matisse’s Dance, I reinterpreted the traditional Turkish folk dance "Atabarı", a symbol of unity and rhythm born in Artvin. Both Matisse’s circular figures and the dancers of Atabarı express collective joy, human connection, and the energy of movement. Through this fusion, I aimed to convey our cultural heritage in a universally recognizable visual language.
This poster was awarded 3rd place in competition, recognized for its strong cultural concept and visual harmony.
